MoseenMomade began as a creative outlet. A place with it’s own identity for ideas to flourish and experiments to take place. 

The root of this alter ego began laid down on canvas in those young primitive teen years when everything seems to be testing you to the best of your abilities. The narrative of the painting’s showcasing a window to escape into the imagination. To see a common world in a not so common light. All while trying to find the humor in our mundane. 

Of course, this is a place for experimentation, so it became time to try something new. Something accessible to all, something relatable to all. Paint and canvas begun a transformation to light exposure and a screen. What was once previously tangible against a wall in 2D has now grown into the movement of the physical space and into the comfort of our wardrobes.

As we navigate our worlds it’s important to rely on creativity as a trusted tool for self-awareness, a safe space for self-discovery and an outlet for everything we can and cannot control. 

The adventure has just begun, as I Morgen Roloff will continue to see, and I will continue to make.
